Mood jewelry is usually made of a flat strip of liquid crystals with a protective coating, setted up on on acrylic or glass materials. The liquid crystals respond to changes in temperature. It is a nice play to connect these temperature changes with emotions. The temperature colors change from blue violett to black:

• violet blue - happy, romantic
• Blue - calm, relaxed
• Green -  neutral
• Yellow / Amber - tense, exited
• Brown / Grey - anxious, nervous
• Black - cold
