Kashmiri Bicone Bead Wular, 19mm
Typical Kashmiri style beads, base made of lac decorated with little light-blue and red glassbeads enclosed of areas of thin metal wire. These beads have got their name of Kashmir, an Indian State in the Himalayas where they originally come from. Nowadays they are also called Bollywood Beads, which is a word creation of Bombay where all Indian Films are made and Hollywood in the U.S. Most of the beads we offer show the traditional colours of the himalayas: Red for coral and blue for turquoise. Both can be found in the himalaya mountains.
