Cloisonne bead, butterfly, 24mm
Fine butterfly cloisonne design on a gold colored background. On the edge gold-plated cloisonne beads with double-sided designs. The cloisonne production process is very special and difficult. The artisians arrange dozens of tiny cells on the bead's brass surface, fill the cells, layer by layer, with colored enamel, then the beads will be fired. The beads are then polished to reveal the intricate, colorful patterns. Handmade beads will vary slightly in shape and size.
