African brass lozhenge bead "Malabo", 20mm
African brass lozhenge formed bead in antiqued brass wire design. Handmade brass beads called "Lost wax beads". The completed beeswax mould is covered with six layers of fine charcoal dust to preserve the detail and then coated with clay. When the mould has dried it is heated and the wax melts and runs out. Molten brass is then poured into the mould. Rare folcloristic beads only available in smaller quantities.African bead designer give these beads the special well known charme.
